Glasses Repair and Replacement Policies
The following policies apply to the purchase of glasses lenses and frames from Iron Horse Optometric Group.
We are proud of both the quality of eyewear that we offer and the service that we provide in making, maintaining, and servicing your new eyewear. To understand the value of your purchase, it is important to understand the following policies.
We want you to love your new lenses. If you do not, please return within 90 days of the date you were notified that your new glasses were ready. We can re-check your prescription and even re-make your lenses free of charge. If you choose to add features to your lenses, you will be charged only the applicable upgrade fees. If you chose to remove features, we cannot offer refunds but will make a new set of lenses at no charge.
Note: The technology does not exist to “buff out” or polish lenses to fix scratches or chips. Fortunately, if you choose anti-reflective or anti-scratch coatings for your lenses, they are warranted for 1 year against scratches.
Although frame purchases are final and cannot be returned or refunded; we will adjust frames, replace screws, re-insert lenses, and replace nose pads free of charge when these procedures can be done in our office. Select frames come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Damages from accidents or abuse are not warranted but can often be repaired for a nominal fee. Please note that repairing frames may result in different colored screws, small scratches on or around frame hinges, or discoloration from soldering. Frames that originally had spring hinges may no longer have springs after repair.
